Skiing: This resort is for good skiers - not that it doesn't cater for beginners but they won't really be able to fully appreciate the fantastic skiing. There is a wide variety of runs around the village of Val D'Isere itself - basically the Solaise runs at the top end and the Bellevarde section to the right (as you look up the valley) extending down to La Daille village at the bottom of the resort. And then there is the link across to Tignes and the Le Fornet glacier further up the valley.
